Right in the business center of Melbourne, clean and very affordable. The room was nice, not super spacious, but enough for a couple to stay for 2 or 3 days. I liked the interior, housekeeping came everyday and did a good job cleaning. Comfortable mattress. Unfortunately I had no view over Melbourne, the reception is very small and has no... More

We stayed one (1) night in a King room. The room itself was not that big but the bed was enormous and very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and with a shower over the bath you could soak away the weariness of tired feet after walking around the city all day. Very friendly staff only to happy to help. Would stay... Stayed here recently overnight for a quick weekend getaway in a twin share room. The hotel is well located just near Elizabeth St and a short walk from major attractions like Federation Square. The room was clean and tidy, but somewhat small (especially for a 'four star' hotel), and looked directly onto the wall of another building. All in all,... More

I made the booking online for 2 rooms, hopefully close to each other but when we arrived, we were told our rooms were 3 floors apart and the reception staff basically told us that's what we're getting and there's nothing they could (or would) do about it. The rooms were ok without being overly big...our king sized bed was comfortable... More

Stayed for a couple of nights, bit of a strange entrance to find , but good room, clean, tidy, not overly big but perfect for what we needed. Friendly staff, good location as well, close to everything. No problem staying there again. More

this hotel was very well appointed right in the heart of it all. within walking distance of all the city attractions and transport. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was large (we got the delux spa room) and clean. the bed was the comfiest ive slept in for a long time. the breakfast was the only downside. it... From the initial, less than professional, check-in, through to the sub-standard breakfasts, rooms, air conditioning temperature controls, and shower water pressure, our stay was less than ideal. The last straw were the staff's break rooms, located on each level near the lifts, where the staff loudly expressed their views on the guests (who they thought were a bunch of thieving,... More

Good morning Nikola, Thank you for your review of Causeway 353 during your recent stay in Melbourne. I am very disappointed to hear about the comments expressed by staff. Our staff have only one break room on level 3. Can you please let me know what floor you stayed on and if possible the dates you heard these comments so... More

good: comfortable bed, quiet, good position bad: bad air condition system, you can't adjust temperature , so air is not fresh ,can't have fresh air and smell not good ,smell gets into your suitcase, and I took allergy tablets every night. continental breakfast is simple and after 4 days is boring,so ordered from kitchen.internet is expensive. not worth the price. but if... We stayed here for three nights, it wasn't luxury but it was modern and clean. The breakfast was great, quick and easy when we had limited time. We also followed the Broadsheet iphone app for all the little hidden eateries we visited for lunch and dinner. Great shopping at the GPO building and the laneways which are all super close.... More
