The hostel is on top of a pub in the middle of the china town section of the Melbourne city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and secure. Plenty to see and do in the local area as it is in the heart of the city. More

Good location, bathroom and communal areas are adequate and clean, and, the staff are amazing (especially the cute Canadian/American guy who had just started). The only down-side are the bouncers who work at nights for both the Pub and the Bottle'O - then again, it's a given. Will be back in June and will definitely be recommending to mates. CHEERS!!! More

I stayed in a 10 bed dorm which was spacious compared to 10 bed dorms at most other hostels. The bathrooms were cleaned every day (thoroughly unlike a lot of other places I have stayed!) Disorganised booking through VIP backpackers, exhaustive climb to rooms on the top floor, views of the chinese restaurant kitchens (?) across the road and only 4 shared toilets/showers on each floor.
