I have stayed on and off at the Somerset for the last few months... I don't stay here by choice. My company chooses it. If you have a choice, stay somewhere else in Perth. Positive things:- - generally cleanish - has hair dryer, ironing board and well equipped kitchenettes if you get that room - generally quiet as long as... More

To start off, there car park which is $25 per night is not easy to find. It’s away at the back of the hotel two streets away & down a small alleyway with no street sign's.( very busy area during peak hr)-One of the staff members met me down at the car park to show me what bay to park... More

We stayed three nights in Perth and benefitted from the hotels central location to explore Perths attractions and night life. Handy also for ferries to Freemantle and Swan River. Let itself down with dated and well worn decor and room furniture and fittings charging for wifi. More

I really don’t know where to start here! When I was booking a hotel for the end of our trip with our cruise company they gave me the names of two or three hotels and suggested I looked on the website to make my final choice. The photos and write up of this hotel looked fine, as did the location.... More

Spent a couple of nights staying at the Somerset St. Georges Terrace while on business in Perth. The hotel is located in central CBD which makes it great for business requirements. At night it was hard to find somewhere in the area to eat apart from the larger hotels in the area. The room itself was only just adequate with... More

stayed at the Somerset a couple of times in 2011 on business. Good location for early appointments in CBD. Parking is a problem - only a few bays available and very very tight; only other option is parking at Convention Centre ($35 - $40) for overnight. Rooms are hit and miss; 1st stay I had a spacious room with plasma... More

This was the only accommodation we could get at short notice...and it was very nice! Very Small hotel tucked away along a busy street. Im not a big fan of staying right in the city after this stay i would certainly do it again. Only problem is they have limited parking so you may ahve to park at the convention... More

Rooms spacious and clean. Bed comfortable with several pillow options. Thick curtains keep the sunlight out, and almost no external noise makes sleep-ins easy. The over-bath shower in my room needed non-slip footing or a handrail - it was quite slippery getting in and out. Location is good - shops, the Swan River and restaurants are all within a 10... More
