Stayed here 3 nights, the first night we were "upgraded to a veranda room", this meant we were treated to the smell of smokers standing on their verandas while their smoke drifted into our non smoking room which strangely had a ashtray with a butt in it. The bedding was smelly (stale cigarette and body odours) so we had to... More

Stayed overnight for a wedding reception, the reception food was great with a very reasonable price for breakfast. Rooms not expensive (we paid $400 in Melbourne!!!), spacious, clean, easy walk to the city. I always ask for fresh milk in the fridge and never ever get it, however, no trouble at the Travelodge. Recommended. More

We stayed there 4 nights. The location in the city centre is good as the swan river foreshore, kings park and zoo are all within walking distance. But like everything else in perth, it's pricey for the basic room and hotel that this is. More

I recently had a weekend in Perth and the Travelodge was a very handy place to place your weary head down. The room was neat and clean and having the balcony to have a quiet cup of coffee was excellent especially looking out to some of the beautiful buildings of Perth. One of the best things was the free bus... More

This is a hopeless hotel. Very old and rundown. Heating/cooling didn't work; window didn't close so very noisy, no hairdryer, no towels in room and took ages to rectify. Severe water hammer and broken lifts - complained to staff but they didn't care. Would maybe have been ok and bearable if the service was ok and the staff acknowledged the... More

Very small and uncomfortable rooms for a hotel that price. For this price, one would expect a very different standard. The bar and restaurant downstairs are quite correct but do not make up with the overall poor impression we got. We had to stay two long nights there and will not go again ... Shops are not very far though... More

Checked in late and if I wasn't so tired I would have asked for another room. I paid for a Superior Room with Balcony - [with a view to St George’s Cathedral]. I was given the first floor - no view of St George's Cathedral and the balcony ... well, if I took one of the chairs from inside the... More

We stayed four nights here with relatives from England who were due to start a round-Australia road/air tour from there. The rooms were well appointed & very clean, a bit dated in decor. The foyer also could do with a face-lift. But the staff were very friendly & helpful & the restaurant provided excellent meals. I had no problem getting... More

I stayed here on a Sunday night because it was one of the few places in Perth within my travel allowance. With a 97% average occupancy rate in Perth currently, many places are charging way above Sydney prices. What did I like - Centrally located - 7mins walk from Hay St Mall - Not too expensive - $140 for basic... More
