I had to change my reservations several times. Xavier Sala, who manages both the Good Earth Hotel and the Perth Ambassador Hotel, was very patient and accommodating. We had reservations with both hotels at different times. They are well located. We got a reasonable price for Perth, which is a very expensive city! It included a substantial breakfast. The only... Booked in 2 nights but after walking into the room - I walked straight back out - no a/c, old, tired, small, stained carpet, old bathroom - whilst room was clean - it still was unacceptable for 3.5 stars. Paint peeling, doors chipped, walls paper thin - noisy . I complained and they still charged my credit card for one... More

I stayed at the hotel two nights. It is really really outdated, carpets, decor etc. The locations is okay, one block from Swan River and a ten minute walk to the CBD. Besides the very old looking interior it was a clean place and staff was very friendly. Perth hotels are pricier and this is no exception that for the... More

I stayed here for a business trip and won't stay here again. Way over priced for what it is. Needs update ASAP, basic hotel with basic facilities. Found blood smeared on the wall outside elevator on my floor. Yuck! My free wifi didn't work. Had to wait for maintenance to change wall plug which was fine, so I asked the... More

Stayed at this hotel for work for 2 nights. Despite it's outdated decor it was clean and comfortable. It has a good location for the Perth Hospital, walking distance and the room was quiet. The breakfast buffet was good value. More

The hotel is stuck in the 70's - even the new carpet in the hallway much have been leftover retro carpet. Hotel reception staff (plural) were rude, got assigned the incorrect room - "sorry can't allocate the correct room - we're all sold out". Room is old, dated, dirty and claustrophobic. Great view of the carpark next door though. More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on route to Adelaide. Hotels i found very expensive in Perth for just a normal standard hotel and this hotel was about the best price wise for what you was paying. I had read reviews about it being out dated and every reviewer was right. Its a friendly hotel and clean and just... More

Spent a night at the hotel after flying in from the bush. Rooms are clean but look outdated, furniture and chairs look really old. Rooms were of average size but well appointed with Internet available - reception provides cables for hooking up to the Internet. Walls very very very thin and you could hear everything that went on in the... More

Was in a good location, close to few things, almost in CBD. We end up walking to the jetty( ferry to Fremantle), abut 15 min walk each way. Shops are on the doorsteps and about 30 min drive from airport. Room were OK, average décor and carpet looked really old( which they mentioned was getting replaced). They overbooked and gave... More

The only positive thing I can say is the staff were friendly and the room was clean, other than that it's definitely not worth the price. I stayed here for a 3 day business trip, it was a bitter disapointment. The bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows hard, the room noisy and small. The meals expensive and poor and the... More
