Arrived at the holiday park expecting something basic for the night. Lovely surprise to find a very comfortable, modern, spacious motel amongst lots of trees. We arrived at 6pm under pressure to return 6km to the village to get something to eat (everything on the East Coast closes by 6.30pm). Didn't have to because we discovered Erina's Caravan Cafe is onsite... More

We stayed in a motel room and it was very comfortable. The staff were great and we also ate well at the caravan. The smoke detector did however start beeping at 1am, seemed like the battery must have needed replacing. The ceiling was very high and by moving furniture and standing on it we were able to just reach the... More

My partner and I booked a motel room which ended up being a nice big room with a television and decent bathroom. The place is a short walk to the beach. And there is a food cart that sells fish, chips, and other common takeaways each night. Our only problem occurred when we were about to leave. We went to... More

This room was clean an spacious. For a family of 4 the room had a double bed and a single bed. They provided an mattress for our 2nd child. Basic new facilities but totally adequate. Motel building is only a few years old. Room lacked a table to eat at. Staff were verey welcoming and helpful. We arrived while area... More

This camp (within sound of the sea) is situated a some kms to the west of the town and overall could be said to have seen better days. Pitches are good grass and many are under the trees, the motel rooms on the whole look newish but the toilet facilities are very poor - basic is a generous word and... More

A holiday park with space for tents, camper vans, etc, and a few rooms of varying quality. We had one of the newish motel rooms, which were perfect, with a table and chairs outside to eat at, watching the acitivty in the camp, including the food van that sets up and offers perfectly decent local fish, chips and other stuff.... I was travelling with a friend in March 2010. We drove along the East Cape to see Tolaga Bay and needed accommodation half way along the Cape. As there are not many options we ended up at this Holiday Park for 1 night. The setting is very nice amongst many trees. We had a cabin which was quite cheap with... More

We stayed in one of the motel units at this holiday park. It had a double bed, a single bed and a sofa-bed all in the one room, which was also the living room. Double and single beds were comfortable but sofa bed not so good! Nice bathroom and small but adequate kitchen. Sky digital TV with a good range... More

We found this place quite by accident, and it was a great surprise after what we had found at the Hicks Bay Motel - which is to be avoided! The woman running the place was just great and could not have been more helpful - even though our arrival cost her a TradeMe deal! The unit we had was spacious,... More

I had been looking for somewhere to stay on the East Coast and wanted to book in advance so I took a bit of a gamble and booked motel rooms at this holiday park. There are 5 new motel rooms here and they looked as if they had only just been finished so were in excellent condition. They were very... More
