This is a very nice hotel, and thanks to the novel design, every room gets a sea view. We were on the 6th floor in the corner and had amazing views. The room was spacious and comfortable with all mod-cons. The bar was a decent place for a drink when everything else in town was shut on Easter Sunday. Receptionist... More

I was on a tour and this was the best hotel that I stayed at. Food was excellent with a 3 course 3 choice each course. There was a bit of a wait between courses but this enabled you to get to talk to fellow guests. Across the road from sea and park with delightful fountain. Beds comfortable. No complaints More

The hotel looks good and is good. Rooms large and airy, and has full facilities. Bathroom clean and towels changed on a daily basis. Staff was very helpful, and restaurant was good value, with excellent food and deserts. The hotel is situated just a short walk from the town centre, where there is a variety of shops and restaurants to... More

The hotel is well located on the edge of the town, in sight of the Cathedral and opposite a regional wine centre where you can spend an hour or so sampling the wines of the Hawkes Bay district. It is modern, clean and functional, meaning that after you leave you can't remember too much about it. The rooms are large... More

Very nice, modern clean spacious rooms with wonderful views. You have to pay for WiFi which was a little disappointing as wifi should be complimentary in the day and age. More

Great views nice room. Close to the town and beach. The lights on the fountain at night are super. Very surprised how quite the town was at night. More

I found this place quite average. The front desk service needs attention - the young man could barely crack a smile and was abrupt. The room was ok - big bed but hard as a rock which did not make for enjoyable sleep. Overall I would not stay here again given the price. More

Fantastic location with easy walking distance to the key attractions Napier had to offer. The hotel had recently been refurbished and the rooms were very comfortable. We arrived at about 10.30 am in the morning the young receptionist at the desk was a bit rude and this put a bit of a damper on our stay. Other than that overall... More
