We checked into Base Rotorua and checked out again within an hour. Granted this is budget accommodation but minimum standards, in my opinion, should still apply. The ceiling was disgustingly dirty, the floor was the same, and the toilets didn't even have basic hygiene facilities - i.e. hand soap to wash your hands! More
