We very much enjoyed staying at "Sandie's Place." She is so cordial and friendly, we were overwhelmed. Even after arriving fairly late in the evening, we were given our choice of rooms. Then when we asked about doing laundry, Sandie insisted that she take care of it for us! And the breakfasts were awesome!

Service and feeling welcome are the main points of staying with Sandy. Just returned from staying at her place on two separate weeks to mountain bike the Redwood forest and hike in the area. Fantastic location and easy to find. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Was able to do my wash and leave luggage with Sandy. Comes highly... More

Eccentrically decorated outside, the rooms were just fine on the inside. Sandi was a delight and willing to help in any way she could with directions and suggestions for seeing Rotorua. She brought breakfast every morning to the room where a toaster, fridge, and hot pot were provided. There was cereal, a lovely fresh fruit salad, yogurt, whole meal bread,... More

This was the friendliest and most welcoming B&B we have ever been to. The hosts were so genuine in their friendliness. We were offered an entire house instead of a room and when our daughter turned up with her boyfriend, both soaking wet after a long walk, Sandy asked them in and offered them shelter. She is the most generous... More

Located on the main drag approaching Rotorua from the north. you might not picture Sandi's as a high class place, based on the jungle of plants surrounding a dwelling under construction. You might be mistaken. Sandi greeted us and instantly evaporated our fears when she led us into a delightful standalone bedroom-and-bath unit out back, beside a small, pretty, heated... More

I was at Sandi's end Oct 2012 with my family comprising of 4 adults. We stayed in her holiday home which we found most suitable for us with its well furnished rooms. Sandi provides for a good cooked breakfast at a time mutually convenient to both parties. We really appreciated the homely touches she provided like turning on the heating... More

Had a lovely stay in one of the cottages in the backyard. The cottages are well decorated and the bed is very nice. There was a swimming pool just next to our cottage and that too was a big plus. The welcome Sandi gives is remarkable. You are treated like a lost family member finally returning home. Sandi is a... More

Two couples in the Holiday House, arrived 8th Jan 2013 for two nights. Although the decor was decades out of date, the house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with more than enough tea & coffee, but the milk in the fridge had gone off the next day. A very nice surprise was the washing machine --... More

Weather you are local, from out of Town or travelling Internationally, it's hard to beat the genuine Kiwi hospitality extended by Mark & Sandi and family when visiting the Cultural Capital of New Zealand that is Rotorua. Put your feet up on arrival and relax by the poolside and view the garden and all it's splendor, eat at the hosts... More

1 night stay during 4 week travel, Sandi was the perfect host. We (2 couples) stayed in the 3 bedroom guesthouse. Very spacy, comfy beds and big living area. We saw the couple cottages, which look new and very nice as well. Try Sandi´s special for breakfast, you are gonna love it. No way you can copy that ;-) Sandi... More
