Kauri Point is a short drive outside Taupo and is set in beautiful grounds with lovely scenery. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great view of the garden and mountains. Robert and Gail were great hosts! Spacious/luxurious room and bathroom, monster deck with great view. Enjoyed the social hour at 6:00 with wine and beer. Breakfast area very comfortable and loved Albert and Bustin the english spaniels! The grounds are beautiful. This was our first experience with a bread and breakfast. Would highly recommend it!

We stayed here for 2 nights and found the facilities to be very good. The room was spacious, clean and well set up with what one would need. The bed was fabulous and the views were very nice. A few points though was we found the house to be quite noisey and thought it all felt a bit too "domestic"... More
