My wife and I went on a 2 week holiday to New Zealand, and when in Taupo, we stayed at this motel. It was very nice, and the location close to the town and also the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped and overall very good place.

Very nice motel, everything in place. Kitchen is fully equipped. Staff very friendly! When I wanted a real frying pan instead of electric one, I was given a private pan owned by the host. Close to the lake; a bit further from the city centre.

This is a single-storey motel, meaning that there´s no noise from above and moving heavy suitcases is easy. Rifle Range Road has very little traffic, so there´s no traffic noise.
