Unfortunately we left an expensive bottle of liqueur on the kitchen bench. Upon ringing the next morning once we got home, I was told that it had been thrown out. I was very impressed with the stand-out service that we received at Durham Motor Inn. Nothing was too much trouble, and the owners/management were very approachable and friendly. Will certainly stay here again if visiting Tauranga.

Decent sized room with all amenities and nice and close to the centre of town. However, a little outdated and drabby. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows as well. Stayed here in September. After reading the "Rules Book" in the room, I felt like I was at a kids camp. Furnishings very dated. In need of a refurb. Duty manager obnoxious and condescending. Pillows and bed uncomfortable. Quite noisy. Nearby guests able to be heard through the walls. Only plus is location to city center. Glad to vacate.
