Hosts were wonderful, being able to connect to the internet was great and using the phone in the bedroom for local calls was a plus. My daughter (15) said, very relaxing place. Great location, bus route, close to amenities, nice and clean and I particularly love their generous sized bathrooms with double spa. I am not sure why people seem to like this place. It has a terrible location, stained carpets and a surley check in lady. The rooms themselves are a bit tired but well supplied. They have free parking but interenet is $15/day. Room price was $135 NZ/night. All in all, you can do better. More

A very nice place to stay. As a solo traveller I felt completely safe and secure. As others have noted the noise can be an issue, but once rush hour is over it's not too bad, also the helicopter landing at the hospital was a bit loud the first time. Got used to it after that.
