Stayed 2 nights. We were housed on the residential side in a generous sized single space apartment complete with kitchenette (washer drier, dishwasher mini bar the lot) Wi-fi included. Room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel gym includes a lap pool and spa which are a welcome facility after a day trailing around the Wellington sights. The hotel public areas... More

My family and friends booked 5 rooms throughout the hotel. The 2 bedroom suite we had on the top floor was by far the best. 4 Floors up, overlooking wellington waterfront and Te Papa museum. 2 lovely bedrooms, 1 with the biggest bathroom you could imagine. The kitchen lounge & dining area were really comfortable. Be careful with children on... More

I look forward to welcoming you again. Glad you enjoyed yourselves, and appreciated what we have to offer. Next time try our pool and gym complex. We think it's about as good as it gets for a small hotel. Again, thanks for your comments. More

I quite like the distinctive and confident personality of this hotel. The lobby is not brightly lit and has an eclectic mix of colours, patterns and artworks in different media. There is a bar downstairs and upstairs a high end French restaurant, which featured a bit too much sheep's brains for our taste. Nonetheless we enjoyed the Museum Art Hotel... More

Overall my stay was dissapointing and I will not be back. The hotel is not as clean as I hoped and very average. There is some art in the lobby but other than that it wasn't worth it. The reception desk doubles as the bar and conceiage, the Internet is slow, and the staff dumping trash in the morning was... More

This was a great hotel. I had a room overlooking the water. I loved the art displayed throughout the hotel. Fantastic hotel, I will stay here again the next time I am in town. More

The first room we were shown to had a nasty toilety smell and a smaller bed than we'd booked. The harbour view from this first floor room was of the car park and the place was poorly decorated. As soon as we complained we were moved, to the grade of room we'd paid for, higher up so we could see... More

Wonderful staff, lovely rooms and a multitude of various works of art makes this hotel quite interesting and different. Food was very good and had an excellent night of sleep. Right across from the Te Papa and walking distance to many, many restaurants. Would definitely go back. More

I'm pleased you enjoyed our art collection. Not long ago we were voted one of the top ten art hotels in the world. The collection sets us apart from other hotels, and is especially appealing for those who are looking for a non corporate atmosphere. More

I'd been really looking forward to staying at the Museum Hotel after hearing so many good things from so many people. When I checked in, I was upgraded to a harbourside room, which was a nice surprise. The room was very pleasant, with the quirky room shape from the hotel building's previous location along the waterfront. And the room was... More

Woah, that definitely shouldn't happen. I'll check our systems and see why, and find a way to make sure it works 100% of the time. We look forward to exceeding your expectations next time. I'm sure we can. That Salmon sashimi dish with the wasabi, cucumber, wakami salad and ginger syrup, not to mention the little sprinkle of caviar is... More

6 of us stayed at the Museum Hotel for the weekend all mothers and daughters for a weekend away from kids and husbands. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were very knowledgeable about where to eat around the area. Rooms were lovely. Great sheets and very nice beds. Awesome location just across the road from Te Papa. Sunday... More
