South Australia Police Soccer Team stayed at the hotel Best Western Wellington (Johnsonville) whilst competing in the Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games held at Lower Hutt. The hotel was ideally placed with all services within walking distance including supermarket and other specialty shops. Train station was within 5 minutes walk. The rooms were adequate, the service provided particularly in... More

The Motel was tucked away in the northern corner of Johnsonville, about 15 minutes drive to Wellington and the Hutt Valley. The Managers, Mark and Helen were extremly helpful and accomodating and went out of their way to assist us. The rooms were tidy and well kept and attended to daily by house service. Breakfast was delivered to our room... More

Location is perfect, just one-two blocks away from closest bus stops to take you to view point or city center. It's not far to walk either, on the coastline. Studio room was just perfect with a nice balcony with view. Staff was very helpful, also a small pool for children. Nice continental-style breakfast. Could have stayed more than one night! More

We wanted to change rooms to have a spa bath and that was no issue, quickly done. It was right in the centre of Johnsonville and very close to motorways etc. Clean, modern and comfortable. More

I stayed here for one night on my way to an early ferry from Wellington. The directions I was given were great as it is tucked away up a lane behind KFC. The undercover basement parking is great and from there acess to the hotel reception is via a lift. Check in was all very straightforward. The one-bedroom unit was... More

The Best Western Wellington is absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the service was amazing. Very impressed with this place and would recommend to anyone. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome by a wonderful couple(manangers) who made us feel special, they were also extremely helpful with what ever I required nothing was too much trouble for them. This place is one little treasure to be found. It may take a little time to find it hidden away, but if you find KFC, then look up and you will see it not far away. Couldn't be better for Windy Wellington as you never have to step out into the weather - you go straight from your vehicle which... More

The Best Western is tucked away in an unattractive side-street in Johnsonville, but is actually very convenient for the motorway and for the excellent train service into Wellington. We had a 2-bedroom unit which was satisfactory and an had a full kitchen. It was rather expensive however. More
