Slightly dated but spotless. Beds so comfy we slept through a 4.1!Nice faciity is the washing line! Saves money & the planet! One drawback- noting to do with the motel- is that all the motels in that area are full & that puts pressure on neighbourhood restaurants. More

I can highly recommend Aalton Motel. The rooms are bright, spacious and clean. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in the environment created by the owners who couldn't have been more welcoming. Hope to visit New Zealand again and would definitely choose to stay at this motel. More

Super location near Hagley Park with lots of eateries and 24 hour grocery store close by. Easy walk to centre of Christchurch through the park. Well equipped, very clean, the free wifi is very useful. Fridge and microwave. Spa and swimming pool great extras. Highly recommended. More
