Great location within easy walking distance to Mall,parks and City centre. and a short easy drive to airport.. Rooms were scrupulously clean and spacious.Owners were extremely friendly and helpful and happy to arrange early morning taxis. and advise on places to go and shopping options etc..We loved the enclosed sitting area outside the rooms for breakfast in the morning sun... We finished our two months trip in NZ with a weekend in Christchurch. Roma on Riccarton has a fantastic location, top quality rooms for this price category and great friendly staff, who helped us a great deal. A pleasure to stay. More

Was in NZ for a conference, and was slightly worried about a 'MOTEL' (first encounter...) was pleasently surprised about the Great Location - walking distance to town centre, shops, food and parks. Rooms was clean and although only basic facilities, everything worked efficiently and well! Free Internet too. Great! Strongly recommended if you are looking for accomodation in Christchurch. More

We stayed two nights in Christchurch and would gladly stay at the Roma on Riccarton again. A very practical setup: beautiful modern bathroom, separate sleeping room, small sitting room and patio, and kitchenette. The owner was helpful and courteous. Well located, comfortable and spacious accommodation in a well maintained building. We stayed for two nights at the two bedroom apartment and we were very pleased with our choice. Very clean comfortable spacious well equipped modern room, well serviced each day. Didn't notice traffic noise or lights from the street. Walkable distance from loads of good cheap restaurants, Riccarton Mall and movie theatre. Close to Hagley park and Botanic Gardens. Great place to stay to avoid earthquake affected areas.
