Getting any kind of hotel in Christchurch is very, very tough since the earth quake. All of the hotels in the area share a reservation system, so if you find someone nice they can tell you who has availaiblity. We got this one within 10 min of someone else cancelling a reservation.. yes it is that tight. Room was very... More

We were placed on the ground level. The unit was compact, but had all that we needed. The parking was a little tight, but fortunately there weren't too many people staying at the time. The unit was clean, and the bed was comfortable. More

When we arrived we walked into a freezing cold room as the door was wide open, it did take us a while to warm the room up and when we did it was pleasant. The bed was comfy and it was close to town. I had to go to the office a couple of times and each time i felt... More

My wife and I regularly travel to Christchurch to visit our daughter who is studying there. We have used several accommodation providers and now prefer to stay here because of the location (between friends and our daughter) and the quality of the accommodation which we always find clean, economical and comfortable, being next door to a service station it is... I searched internet for suitable motel which had a bath (as I have arthritis). Also, on wotif this place was advertised with inclusions of: "excellent & sunny quiet room. Enjoy a drink on the balcony & watch the world go by" We had a downstairs small unit, no outside area, no parking outside. NO BATH. When I went back to... More

We were surprised by the clean, spacious rooms after staying in some shockers on our budget holiday! The prices are very reasonable and Dave and Morag were very friendly and helpful. Also, its only about 10 minutes from the airport, which is great. More

I stayed at this motel while visiting grandchildren nearby. Dave & Morag were so helpful & friendly. They even shared their lunch with me. I had no vehicle & so spent a lot of time at the motel. It was lovely. I would recommend this place to everyone. More

We needed to be in the Redwood area of Christchurch where this motel is located. It was easily accessed from SH1 as well as it is on a main route to the city centre. We used the city bus to travel around and the stops were right outside the motel. We stayed in one of the budget rooms which was... More

We really enjoyed staying here, we stayed in one of the new units, which was clean and spacious. The hosts Dave and Morag were friendly and helpful, and we would stay there again if we went back to Christchurch. Amazing water pressure in the shower, and although on a main road it was very quiet and warm as it has... More
