Unfortunately there was a problem with our booking, but they more than made up for it by upgrading us to a larger one. No hassle at all. They were happy and quick to help with a high chair and the broken heater. The motel from the outside is ecclectic and quite charming. Inside our room felt like a European house,... More

We arrived for our stay in Dunedin and struck 3 days of rain...our unit was on the ground floor and quite spacious and room y which was good as we probably spent a bit more time in them because of the weather .Location central so can walk into town took about 10 minutes. Would definitely come back to stay here.

We arrived on a very wet day and felt low. On going to our room (upstairs) our mood changed immediatly, superb room, excelent kitchen area and a bathroom you would die for. The owner had offered to help with our caes up the stairs, we declined but were grateful for his considerstion. We were told what to see in Dunedin,... More

We stayed one night at this comfortable motel. Our apartment was clean, well equipped with very nice décor. The owners were very helpful and at our request left a good breakfast selection in the fridge for us. Michael kindly took us to the railway station The motel is a short distance from the city centre so convenient for most places.... More

We stayed in the executive unit which was a 2 story townhouse - king bedroom and 2 single beds in another room. Both these rooms were upstairs with a bath. Downstairs was a kitchen, half bath, living room and fireplace. Our unit was very clean and new (or newly refurbished). Not much 'closet' space, but we were living out of... More

We stayed here in March for the England cricket test series in Dunedin. We could not have asked for better accomodation. We had a fantastic stay here, we stayed in New Zealand for a month and this was by far the best motel we stayed in. We stayed in a ground floor 1 bedroom unit which was comfy and spacious,... More

Avoid this hotel. The owners assigned us unit 13 right on the street. The temporary manager said we could not exchange rooms as we had ordered double spa bathrrom. He said windows were double glazed. From the spa bathroom all you could hear were cars and trucks going by, forget double glazing if you are not in an inside suite... More

Very good city motel. Hosts are incredibly helpful and lots of fun. We stayed in two different downstairs units both of which were very well kitted out. The bed in the second felt a bit old. The only thing about the rooms that is a bit difficult is that there isn't much room for clothes. We just didn't unpack. The... More

We were very happy with this accommodation and one of the nicest places we stayed on our 20 day trip of the South Island. We stayed for 2 nights in an upstairs room. If you want something where you can cook better to pay a bit extra and have a downstairs 1 bedroom room - these looked great as well.... More

Well, what an beautiful motel. I have to say that this was by far the Best Accomodation we had on our 10days South Island trip and was reasonably priced. The bed was a beautiful sleepyhead bed and was soooo comfortable. We had an upstairs bedroom, which was very spacious with ensuite.(No lift, but stairs were not a problem for us).The... More
