I dined with my Mother for lunch at the Level One Restaurant at the Kelvin Hotel. Terrific wait staff ... attentive and helpful. The meal itself was great ... big portions ... and great dessert ... at a very low price. I would happily dine here for Sunday lunch again. More

good location but rooms are small and outdated. I travel a lot and always look for a place that gives me the comforts of home. Food good car parking not good as you have to park at another building. More

Poor service, average location, small, old fashioned rooms, albeit very clean and tidy. I was travelling on business and won't visit again. Inattentive staff werent very helpful, paper thin walls meant I didn't get much sleep. Hotel looks like it was decorated in the 70s and hasn't been touched since. More

Stayed here for a couple of weeks for business. One week I stayed in a renovated room and the next an older style room which still was good. Enjoyed the renovated room as had flat screen TV and nice bathroom. The restaurant in hotel had great food, especially breakfast. Dinner was very nice as well. Hotel must have agreements with... We were travelling through Invercargill as part of our honeymoon and had one night here. They upgraded us to a suite on the top floor with a spa bath and double shower.
