We arrived late but Jo & Doug could not have been more helpful, as soon as they discovered we were on the Funkak trip the next day (a must by the way) they were on the phone to arrange a pick up from outside. Were full of information and helpful tips. Their recomendation for supper was the best steak we... More

Jo & Doug could not have been more helpful! We turned up late and had a barrage of questions to ask about kayaking in Milford Sound. Jo and Doug 'phoned various companies and basically got us totally sorted out in record time. The room is spacious and clean and Queenstown is epic! I wish we were staying here longer; I... More

This tidy, unpretentious motel is within walking distance from the heart of queenstown. Set back from a main street, it's quiet and peaceful. The owner-managers are very helpful, warm and hospitable. The rooms are modern, spacious and provide everything you need. It's not a fancy luxury property, but for me it strikes a perfect chord. I've sent other people to... More

This truly was the friendliest motel I have ever had the privilege to stay at. The manager went out of his way to make sure our time in Queenstown was as enjoyable as possible. The place itself was extremely well equipped and in a great location. We had a great time here. More

Four of us stayed in a 2 BR suite for 5 days and this hotel was perfect. The kitchenette was fine for our needs for brekkie and lunch. The walk up the hill from town was not something to look forward to, but that's just me being a grump after a great day and a fun time in town hanging... More

Amity Lodge was a really comfortable motel, suitable for a family. We had our 2.5 y.o. toddler with us and found it to be a good choice. Parking outside motel room. Greeted by really friendly owner who took no shortcuts in explaining everything we needed to know about our room as well as anything else we were interested in, during... More

We stayed in this hotel in March 2012 and found the owner very friendly and helpful. The location is in a quiet street, a short walk from town (uphill). The motel was very nicely decorated but I was disappointed with the view - we were on the bottom floor and just had a view of the carpark and hills. The... More
