Amazing views of lake Wakatipu. Central location with nice rooms amenties. Worth the money mainly for location - 10 min walk into town. Looks quite old from the outside but it seems must more updated once you're inside. Parking provided as well which is great, and theres plenty of street parking too.

Lake view is best feature of this older hotel with small rooms. Terrible closets with limited front to back storage rather than side to side. Bathroom could have used some refurbishing. We were in Queenstown for one night and stayed at Rydges Lakeland Resort. A lovely hotel with excellent accommodation, views out over the lake and we saw the Earnslaw sailing passed several times. This hotel accommodates a lot of peolple and all rooms face the water which is spectacular. In autumn the trees and lake are magical.
