It would be difficulty to add much to all the other five-star reviews of The Ferry already here. My wife, daughter and I spent three nights at the Ferry in March and found it flawless. Glenys and Kevin are wonderful hosts, full of warmth and truly made of feel like family over our all too brief stay. The rooms are... More

By coincidence we ended up at "The Ferry bed & breakfast". What a warm welcome we had! We really enjoyed the hospitality and views. A great location. No crowds, only birds singing when I enjoyed my cup of coffee! Loved it! More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We enjoyed the impromptu afternoon tea we shared with you Ian and Jule's. It was a very pleasant interlude. We hope you will call again before you leave Queenstown. More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ferry. The rooms were comfortable and everything was exquisitely clean. Our hosts' dog came to visit at our request and took us on a walk the next morning. Breakfast was great! We appreciated that this house was just outside the hustle of town and close to Arrowtown and wish we had had... More

Our first stop in new Zealand we spent at the ferry b and b, just outside of queenstown. Glinnis and Kevin, owners, we're so hospitable and did everything to make our stay a success. We even got to borrow Buckley , their wonderful dog, for a walk by the shotover river. We were the only guests and had the use... More

An error in bookings landed my wife and I at The Ferry. Expecting to be in town, and arriving in this tranquil spot was a smile from fate. It couldn't have been planned better. We stayed three nights at the end of February, and enjoyed such wonderful hospitality surpassing the renowned southern welcome. Glenys and Kevin were fantastically kind and... More

My husband and I and our 25mth old son loved staying at this gorgeous cottage set in a beautiful garden. The cottage is in a quiet spot just by the famous Shotover River, a stones throw from the Historic Shotover Bridge. It is very peaceful - so much more relaxing than being in the busy madness of tourists in Queenstown.... More

Thank you for your wonderful review. We thoroughly enjoyed your visit and hope you might take a regular break here away from a busy lifestyle in Auckland. It was a shame you couldn't stay longer as you would have liked but maybe next time. Kind regards Glenys & Kevin More

I and my wife stayed there for 4 nights this Christmas. The place is so well decorated and furnished tastefully. Glenys n Kevin were very caring and attentive. You do not want to miss the homemade bread. If you like watching stars, do not mind to grab a blanket and watch them in front of the house. You will see... More

Our 2 kids loved staying in this lovely cottage where like others we had the whole house to ourselves, though we only used the 2 rooms we booked. Interesting period furnishings and nice touches like water carafes and glasses beside the beds. A famous dog - Buckley, who appears on the cover of a book about B&B dogs - and... More

We are three French seniors. Two nights in The Ferry. Whole house for ourselves, and plenty of wood in front of the cheminee. Much too short stay to appreciate the place. Glenis and Kevin did as much as they could for us: very warm welcome, delicious breakfast, fishing advices... What to say? Just perfect! Too bad this fantastic place is... More

We wanted to give our daughter and granddaughters some respite from earthquake damage in Christchurch. We had been before and remembered The Ferry for the hospitality. We had the whole house to ourselves and arrived to a very warm welcome and a wonderful log fire. Glenys and Kevin were excellent and friendly hosts. We were all able to relax and... More

We really appreciate you taking the time to compile and submit your review. We really enjoyed having you stay with us again. Bringing your daughter and grand-daughters this time made it very special and we really hope to see you again on one of your future visits. Maybe next time your son in law will be able to come too.... More
