At that sort of rate one would think that you would get free wifi, especially when you are on a business trip attending a conference there, even the motels in that area provide free wifi. The bed is too soft. More

Our business held a Conference at the Queenstown Sofitel in early May 2012. 17 of us stayed on average 4 nights, and we all really enjoyed the facility. Staff were very attentive, complete with Bon Jour and Bon Soir welcomes. Rooms were excellent, even had their own coffee machine. The French Cafe for breakfast was quaint and the breakfast buffet... We took our grandsons snowboarding in Queenstown and stayed here for 4 nights in a family suite. This is something they will always remember as it was their first ever big hotel stay and their first overseas trip and their first time in snow, so all combined it was their first tase of how to travel in style. All the... More

Great service, the porter was very helpful in the arrival. The manager Ulrika was very kind and give us a great room for a reasonable price. The room was spacious and clean. The hot tub with tv was perfect after the long trip we had. Great sound system in the rooms. I wish we stayed longer. Will reccomend this Sofitel... More

I was on trip NZ and have to say this hotel was a real treat. I booked online and got a good deal - I paid for two nights and got one night for free. The hotel staff is very welcoming and always helpful. I was travelling by myself and had almost nothing arranged prior to my stay in Queenstown,... More

Stayed three nights here. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms large and comfortable. The spa bath next door was noisy, they only used it once. A simple remote would have been ok. It did seem strange going up the lift to the fourth floor to be level with the pavement. The hotel was central to Queenstown centre and everything was a... More

The staff here are great, the rooms are great, the restaurant is great and the location is the best in town. We stayed 7 nights here and will definitely stay on our next visit. The hotel is in keeping with Queenstown, only 6 floors, not overly big but absolutely lovely. The only downfall was the Gym which wouldn't bother most... More
