The good bits, were very clean rooms, nice views and the property still looked "new" Bad bits as a priority club member never got the offer of a newspaper each day.Had to go to bar to read then. Paid $500 for a weekend stay thats $250 a night and no breakfast and car parking charged on top. VERY EXPENSIVE for... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel is fine but the rooms are dated and basic. The furniture looked old and the sofa was worn and had stains on it. The beds were comfortable however but the room was really nothing special. The hotel itself is located close to the wharf and many restaurants and is quiet at... More

Stayed two nights for business. The room was large & spacious and I was on the ground floor (the long corridor reminds me of a scene from the movie The Shining!). Everything was clean & tidy and the bed comfy. The TV in the lounge had a volume problem but I alerted housekeeping to that. Best of all it's a... More

We recently spent 2 relaxing nights in a superior room which was spacious, clean and had a lovely view across the water. The hotel is well located, only a short walk to the city centre and the various restaurants along the waterfront. We were very disappointed after using the hotel's $28 per day secure valet parking that our new car... More

We stayed here overnight. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable, and the bed was as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, even meeting us on arrival in the driveway to advise about valet and street parking, which is a bit tricky. Buffet breakfast offered an extensive choice, even including a cappuccino for no extra charge. Our room was... More

This accommodation is beautiful, very friendly staff, situated central to everything, entertainment, food, Beach board walks, never used the car... would recommend a room overlooking the Harbour, will stay again as two day were not enough.

We stayed in a King Spa suite for two nights in May. On opening the door we were greeted with the sight of a half drunk bottle of wine on the kitchen bench which seemed a bit strange. The housekeeping of the room was below average with hairs in the bath, on the wall and on the floor which wasn't... More

Being a local I wouldn't usually stay in such an expensive hotel so close to home but the boss paid for me due to our Xmas party being just down the road. Yes the hotel is expensive but for good reason. It really is premium quality service in a premium location. I stayed in a suite and the room was... More

We stayed for 4 nights across a weekend in April. Simply we enjoyed everything that Crowne Plaza Newcastle offered us. The room was comfortable and well fitted which it should be in a newish hotel. Meals were great. Staff attentive and helpful. And the location surprisingly good. Never thought of Newcastle as a holiday spot. We were there for a... More

Situated right on the water and connected directly to the promenade which will take you up and down (by foot) the length of the Newcastle waterfront, it would be hard to beat the Crowne Plaza's location. The hotel's lobby is just steps from some great dining options and a 10-15 minute walk to Nobbys Beach and Lighthouse. Newcastle is relatively... More
