We stopped off here on our way north and were impressed with the standard of the rooms and resort in general. They are spacious and in close location to the local pub which we had a great dinner at. As Gladstone accommodation can be so expensive - this is a great alternative.

The worst place we ever stayed!Horrible smell in a room,everything so old,overpriced,have to clean after and leave the room spotlees otherwise will be charge extra(we live in 21 sanctuary)Owners wasn't friendly at all,felt like they do a fever to us...Left a bitter taste in mouth...will never ever stay in that area again...the review before def.left the owner...

The lady who runs the hotel is extremely unwelcoming, unfriendly and lacking in customer service skills. She was hostile to us from from the moment we walked in the door. I will never stay here again.

The hotel was tidy and located near shopping centre which was handy, rooms were well equipped but a little pricey, service was disappointing not very friendly or helpful.

Because of the mining boom, Gladstone is one of the towns fairly well booked, and of course Managers can ask good prices, so we opted on trying Tannum Sands as this motel was a recommendation from a fellow traveller. Very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained. Very hospitable and helpful, will definitely be back when next in Gladstone.
