Large well appointed rooms, delicious breakfast omelette, staff are friendly and helpful. A little more expensive than your regular Mackay motel but worth the spend! Love the balcony looking out over the gardens and ocean.

We were most impressed by not only this hotel but the friendliness of all the staff that we met. We had driven for 580 kilometres through horrendous weather to receive such a good welcome and be shown to our lovely room. Eighties pastel decor and the inclusion of the word "International" in the title of this hotel when there is clearly nothing international about it, other than one French speaking waiter, made this place feel really, really dated. The building is getting tired and the room have not had an upgrade in a long time, feels like Fiji in the 80's. the room are big and open which is great, the beach/park side setting is a great break from the city or mine view I usually get. The staff a great and friendly, the breakfast is basic.
