I have stayed in a number of Quest apartments around Australia and they all have shown great quality and comfort. is the first time that I have stayed at these apartments. I stayed for 5 nights on business so only spent the nights in the apartments. I had a couple of colleagues stay in other rooms and they each complained... More

I have stayed at Quest Launceston several times and on each occasion am impressed with how clean, warm and comfortable the beds and rooms are. Traveling to Launceston in May is a cold and wet time but the comfort and quality furnishings make a welcome retreat. The small kitchen is also great so that you can look after your porridge... More

Not sure how the hotel can fix the noise problems. First there was the laneway next to our room; sounds of glass broken, yelling groups of people and it provided noise from the road, the town hall clock, the booming music from a club until 4.40am. Not to mention the drag racing known locally as "Blockies". This was all night.... More

Dear SauvBlacAdelaide, Thank you for your feed back after your recent stay at Quest Launceston. I was disapointed that you had a less than satisfactory night's sleep, resulting in your early departure. Your stay happened to coincide with an AFL match in Launceston when the city is generally extremely busy, which in turn can lead to problems with external noise.... More

My partner and I stayed for three nights, together with our teenage daughter and her friend. Out two bedroom Apt on the top level of this heritage building consisted of a one bedroom apt downstairs - the bedroom separated from the sitting area/kitchen by a glass wall. The girls were upstairs from us, accessed via an internally connecting staircase, in... More

My wife and I stayed at the quest Launceston for a week while visiting the apply isle for a friend’s wedding, it was just perfect. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which was fantastic value for $165 per night (Weekly Rate). The room had a separate bedroom and built in robe, bathroom with laundry facilities and a large living room... More

Excellent location and quality accommodation. I stayed here for business for a week and didn't want to leave! Carparking is available in the garage across the road which was a tad annoying, but if thats my biggest criticism then this hotel deserves nothing less than a five-star seal of my approval. More

Good rooms and amenities , great shower and plenty of fresh towels, the only issue to watch for is if you have a room overlooking Paterson Street the main road it is noisy with early morning street sweepers starting up at 5AM. Must pay for internet and not full sweep of Foxtel. Parking is available across the road in a... More

Thank you for submitting your reveiw of Quest Launceston. For a number of years, we have lobbied local authorities to look at solution to extenal noise issues associated with the chiming of the Town Clock and street noise. To date, these efforts have been largely unsuccessful. However, we are very excited to announce that windows in the sleeping areas of... More

Not a great start, with stairs up onto reception level. But that's fairly minor. Receptionists were really nice and helpful. The room was pretty good. The windows were a bit too thin - noise from outside was noticeable. Bed was fine, and kitchenette was fairly good. Annoyingly there was only one chair! Weird considering it's a self-catered apartment with two... More

This should be a great hotel. It is ideally siuated in the centre of the city. We booked a two bedroom appartment and found it to be spacious, well fitted out, clean and inviting. The greeting as we arrived was warm and the staff made us feel "at home" from the first minute we arrived. The major let down was... More

Stayed here February 25-27 2011 for the first time and it will be the last. There is no double-glazing so the street noise on Fri/Sat night drives you insane. Admittedly MS-Fest was on and the place was a bit busier than I have experienced over the last 10 years although Launceston Cup times are pretty much the same. Additionally, the... More
