Was given a steak knife which looked like it had melted cheese on it. Could be golden staph however. Ordered a porterhouse (medium), received an overcooked scotch fillet which was half gristle and fat. When I sent it back and asked for a refund the manager came out and tried to tell me that scotch fillets are like that. I... More

This was our second visit to the Foundry, having recently moved to Bendigo. The first time was for lunch & I had salmon patties which were dry and mostly potato with the odd fleck of salmon. Overall unappetising, however, after a comment to the waitress, the meal was quickly changed to whiting fillets which were fine. The second visit was... More

Having read earlier reviews on the meals here, we decided to try it out. First time around, i had a Ceasar Salad that was the best i have ever had. All components were well put together and the dressing just right.....beautiful ! Wife had Fish and Chips, also really well done. The rub is our second meal. We both had... More

We didn't stay the night, the service was with a smile, the kids were served first followed quickly by our entree's and then the main's were not too far behind. Generous serves of good quality well cooked food. Well done! More

We didn't stay overnight at the foundry-but if the accommodation is as good as the bistro I would have no hesitation in recommending. We have dined here a number of times. It has a casual atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing and the meals are DELICIOUS! Highly recommended. More

If you are anywhere near Bendigo, Golden Square, or Kangaroo Flat and want a cold beer and a sample of country Victoria hospitality make sure you stop at the Foundry Arms Hotel. Located on the just off the main street directly across from Safeway and just down the road from the South Deborah gold mine tour More
