Clean motel with with comfy bed. The manager was lovely and came promptly to reception. Helped with all requests. Short drive into town and straight over the road is Lake Hamilton where there is an actively patronised 5k walking track which was great to use after a day driving. Rooms are small but definitely clean and comfortable

Stayedin family room. Queen size beds were double beds, squashed up against wall...very difficult to get in and out of bed. No sofa. Table seating for two. Microwave supplied...but no cutlery. Very disappointing and manager could not really care about the false advertising ...all not be recommending to anyone :(

This motel has recently changed hands. The new managers are pleasant and very helpful. They are refurbishing the motel to more modern standards, however all the equipment worked satisfactorily.My wife and I stayed there in March 2012.

This is well worth considering if all you want to do is sleep. It's close enough to town to walk into the CBD and Lake Hamilton id just across the street with some nice walks and wildlife.
