We stayed here last night in a heritage room, one of the rooms in the front of the building. The room presentation was fine. It was renovated and had new carpet, bed was very comfortable. “Convenient and clean”

The room was small but fit for purpose if you are on business or just need the Room for a sleeping. Good location, heat pump took a while to kick in but may stay was comfortable. Close to a great cafe if dinning in isn't your choice.

Travelodge is what it represents. Well priced, clean and friendly. The room was adequate for an overnight business stay. Bathroom was old and tired. Service was pleasant and friendly, breakfast was ok.

We stayed in the old "heritage" part of the hotel which we found very pleasant. The room was large and comfortable, bathroom well appointed with lots of shelf space for putting things on. Hotel is probably the best for value in town, it has a combination of classic and modern rooms. However the water pressure in the shower was not good the room was cold with no heating turned on when I arrived and the place lacks atmosphere.

Very clean comfortable hotel! Staff warm and friendly & they serve a great buffet breakfast. As with many hotels & motels throughout New Zealand, it is outrageous what they charge for interest usage. Also for their North American or UK/European visitors, how about CNN or BBC as their choice of channels is quite limited.
