Lovely old house on the river, spacious and clean. Nice big garden to relax in. We had a great room overlooking the river. Got information for activities in the area and so close to town we could leave car and walk or use the free bikes. Would have liked to stay longer. More

Tamara is the best Backpackers we have stayed in anywhere. The beautiful historical house offers bedrooms that are spacious and very clean as are the common rooms. “Fine for one night”

The best thing about Tamara Lodge was the fact that they had beds available for 5 when we rocked up at 9pm on a Friday night on our way through. I certainly wouldnt want to stay here any longer than one night though if sharing a dorm room. The beds were crammed into the rooms, with no shelving to unpack... More

I regret that this customers expectations were not met but I was simply reponding to the request made. I was asked for a room for 5 people which we don't really have but can be done through the full utilisation of a double bed in our 4 bed room. This enables 5 people to sleep in what I regard as...
