The Beachside Motel is a good option for a family stay. While the facilities are old, the units are spacious, comfortable and clean. The receptionist is a mine of knowledge of Hokitika and made us feel like VIP's. We will call again, but next time for a longer period. More

First a big Thanks to Brain and Adele for their great hospitality. You couldn't find better hosts. Great rooms and very affordable. Having the grassed play area fenced off meant the kids could play outside and we were safe in the knowledge that they couldn't go anywhere. Would recommend this place in an instant. We had alovely time as a family staying here, the 2 bedroom unit was large, clean and just perfect. There is a huge fenced garden and play area for the kids.
