I'd have been happy enough with the unit if it wasn't for the price. Very basic amenities, TV was a tiny antiquated variety with poor reception. The unit is very spacious. Comfortable beds, white sheets and white towels look and smell very sanitised. Shower and toilet is very clean. We stayed at the Willowbank for 2 nights and had a relaxing stay. The motel is on the main road a couple of km's north of the town centre. Fantastic value for this motel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with 5 adults and there was plenty of room. It is basic, but has everything you need and most importantly it is clean and comfortable. only a few minutes drive into Kaikoura and there is plenty of parking there. More
