We stayed at the cottage which is totally stunning. The hosts had thought of everything from a toy basket to feeding equipment for the baby, access to tennis courts and a fully equipped house. We couldn't have had a happier stay and would love to come back again another time. The locAtion is stunning and we couldn't recommend it more... More

There is nothing we can possibly add to all the glowing reviews already given, but every word you read is absolutely true. Kincaid Lodge was our special treat at the end of a fortnight touring NZ with our two young daughters. We arrived late and cold on the first night to be greeted with an emergency spread of delicious sandwiches... More

We had a wonderful experience here, not just a stay. We wanted somewhere comfortable and a bit special for our last three nights in NZ, and were absolutely delighted with Kincaid Lodge and our wonderful hosts, it far exceeded our expectations. We recommend it without reservation, with the suggestion you try and spend at least two nights here to enjoy... More

Everyone should visit Kincaid Lodge. Greg and Jessica are wonderful hosts, we felt we had known forever, lovely people and the welcome we received on arrival was huge! Our room was beautiful, looking out onto the garden, very peaceful and restful. Jessica presented us with a truly delicious breakfast, very stylish and flavoursome. We were so sorry we could not... We spent a couple of fantastic days at the Lodge and cannot fault it in any way. The room was lovely, and we really appreciated the extra touches of chocolates, grapes, cashew nuts and sherry provided. The breakfasts were freshly cooked, as requested and just great. Both Greg and Jessica made us feel so welcome and we had some great... More

Greg and Jessica were lovely hosts. They made us feel so welcome it is a shame we had to rush off in the morning to a whale-watching trip. I'm sure the breakfast would have been marvellous. However, Jessica kindly made us up a packed breakfast to take with us which was so thoughtful and allowed us to enjoy the whales... More

We cannot imagine our New Zealand holiday without the Kincaid Lodge and the lovely Greg and Jessica. After 27 / 27 Excellent Reviews, we can only also lend our highest compliments to this unbelievable lodge. Immediately upon entering [without our bags, as Greg carried them in!], we were blown away by the modern and luxurious lodge that they have built.... More

Absolutely agree with all the other comments about Kincaid Lodge! It couldn't have been better! The room we stayed in was huge with a view to the front yard and ocean. The room my brother and his wife stayed in looked out to the majestic mountains that are a backdrop for the lodge. The "living room" had a free standing... More

Driving up to the house I wondered if we had come to the wrong place as it looked so small from the road, how wrong first impressions can be. Inside the lodge is fantastic and very tastefully decorated. The room was spacious, comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains, the common rooms were warm and well equipped. Jessica and... We wanted a base in Kaikoura for 6 nights and like others before us, read the reviews of Kincaid Lodge with a touch of cynicism. Can anywhere really be that good? Still, we thought, if it is even half as good as it sounds, it is perfect for us. Half as good? It was twice as good and so much... More
