We stayed for 2 nights. Apartment was lovely and extremely homely. Has a beautiful view from the apartments facing the ocean. The apartment was close to most shops and restaurants. Would recommend this hotel. More

We stayed for 2 nights and found the apartments very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great views over the ocean and mountains. Plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Daimer was very obliging and couldn't be more helpful during our stay. We would certainly stay at Waves again. More

Beautiful situation with excellent facilities, clean, tidy and well maintained, obviously a well thought out and cared for property. The owners are more than helpful recommending dining, tours and activities. A real home away from home, with a fantastic snowcapped mountain and sea view to boot! More

Another stay at the Waves, another outstanding stay. Liz ad Damer you are hard to beat. Would recommend with hesitation. Our travelling companions from Germany and Finland raved all the next day, especially the comfort and the kayak experience in kaikoura bay also supplied by the Waves. More

We had a fabulous stay at Waves on the Esplanade. The managers are incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic. The apartments are impeccably clean. We had originally planned to stay only one night but chose to extend as we were enjoying ourselves so much. We highly recommend Waves to anyone planning on visiting Kaikoura! More
