By far my favourite Backpackers hostel I've stayed in on Australia's East coast. This is probably because I travel on such a small budget I choose the cheapest places and therefore don't get the best experience - however, Woolshed is a gem of a hostel that definitely exceeded all my expectations!
Firstly, the customer service is amazing - which tends...

Great hostel!
There weren't many rooms but that was perfect for us as it was quiet at night!
The staff were fantastic! They picked us up and dropped us off at the the bus station and helped us organise our trip to Fraser Island at the best rate available! There was free Wi-Fi and a large selection of DVDs to...

I stayed here for three weeks doing work for free accommodation, and could have easily stayed another three! Brent & Megan, the owners, are extremely friendly & helpful, and very kind to the staff. The rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned every morning. The outdoor garden areas are very peaceful and a great place to relax and bird-watch!

We had a double private/ensuite, which was nice. Coffe/Tee for free, huge TV/ kitchen facilities. Owners nice, A/C is extra $5 charge, room was clean, not far to woolwoth. You get free WiFi if you book a tour at the Hostel. Our friend stayed in a 3 girl dorm, which was very small. The first night one room was robbed...

We stayed at the Woolshed for 3 nights this month. We had booked into a private double and when we arrived we were put in a tiny room with no air-con next to the reception. This meant it was boiling, the night light constantly went on and off shining through our curtains and we even had a member of staff...

The staff here are really friendly.
I was in a 3 bed dorm. There was a tv and dvd player in the room which was a bonus.
The showers were powerful but the drainage couldn't keep up with the flow of water.
The kitchen was a bit small and basic.
The hostel had a nice feel about it.
A major...

I had a great time here, the common areas are good, although the kitchen is maybe a little small and narrow.
Friendly staff, and good rooms, although ours was next to the bathroom as as there was a metal wall separating us, could be rather noisy. The place feels really interesting as there are lots of nice places to sit...
