Excellent location for downtown activities. Few steps and in the town centre. Good car parking. Helpful reception staff. Wifi speed in rooms not great. Note lots of guests around lobby using that connection. Rooms well presented, clean, tidy and comfortable.

I last stayed at the Rutherford Hotel back in 1992 (and it wasn't new then). My room 715 has been well maintained - the room was spacious and had all the facilities I required - but no in room safe nor wireless Internet connection. Location was great as walking distance to everything in the cities centre. However rooms were run down - ours smelt the wet carpet - shower had terrible water pressure and air con just didn't cool. Was over priced however there isn't much of an alternative in the small city.
