We camped for 3 nights over Easter. The park is in a nice position, close to picnic areas and the walking trails along the escarpment. Scenic world where the railway is is 10 minutes walk, at most. The centre of town is a fair walk away. The campsite was reasonably sized, the facilities were good with camp kitchen and plenty... More

Great location for access to the tracks and lookouts around Katoomba. A quiet leafy location within 5 minutes drive of the town. We camped in the unpowered section and the site was a little small but manageable. The ameneties were clean and fully functional and so was the laundry. The camp kitchen was great and was also very clean and... More

Had no idea when we arrived how superb the location was. Most of the main attractions such as the Three Sisters were just over the road. On arrival, Margaret in reception, was better than any of the tourist information places we had visited, gave us maps, insight and suggested walks. Our power site was good. Kitchens great, had hoped for an... More

We were happy with our stay. We found the staff friendly and they walked around the park talking guests to ask if all was ok. Found it a bit strange that you have to park the caravan on the concrete and have the awning out over the grass. The spot where you step out of the van was quite worn... More

I recently stayed here for 2 nights, could not stay longer as cabins were all booked out. I found the staff very friendly. The cabin I stayed in was spacious, room to move. Good parking. Access into and out of the park was good. Best of all a 20-30 minute walk over the road to the cable car/sky rail. I... More

Please read my other reviews, because I really don't have much positive to say about Katoomba caravan park. We stayed for 4 days late september/early october. The boss was attending a meditation thing. The was the most expensive powered site we stayed at through our whole holiday and the least satisfying park we stayed at. Where do I start ?... More

Thank you for taking the time to express your feelings regarding your recent stay at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park. We were extremely concerned to read your comments and hope to alleviate some of your concerns with our response. The weekend of your stay was the NSW Labour Day weekend (October long weekend). We picked this park only for it's location, explorerbus right in front of the park, scenic world, three sisters, Katoomba waterfall etc.. We, family with 2kids ( 6yo and 16yo) stayed in the Lawson cabin for a long weekend. We did not expected much since the cabin looked really small on the pictures but once inside it was bigger than... Such a pity as its a truly amazing area and there is so much to see and do! We recently stayed for 2 nights on a powered caravan site, had originally planned to stay longer but glad we didn't! The caravan park does not cater for kids, we have a 4yo, 2yo and infant. When I asked about a family... More

Had 2 nights here. It is in a good position, close to the 3 sisters, scenic railway etc. The park itself was disappointing and we thought rather overpriced. There are improvements underway but the main emphasis seems to be putting more cabins on site. There is only 1 amenities block which was rather faded although clean. Wouldn't be my choice... More

This was our third stay at Katoomba Falls. The new management are really shaking things up now, the kitchen hut is being renovated with several outdoor BBQs and a new set of camping huts are being built. Unfortunately the new kitchen isn't quite done yet, so we could only use the outdoor facilities (BBQ, microwave, fridge-freezer, hot/cold water) but it... More
