We stayed here on our anniversary and were looking forward to dining at Darleys. Unfortunately it was closed but we still had a great meal at the sister property across the road at Echos. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the sleep in without the kids. The service was first class especially by Ines who expertly decanted a... More

This place is wonderfully located. So much about real estate is about location. So much? Certainly a great big slug of it, and this place has it in spades. It also has an extraordinary reputation, of which it needs to be proud, and nurture. Better than it is, because according to its reputation and literature, Lilianfels is about attention to... More

We have just stayed at Lilianfels again and it is rare to be in a hotel which is as comfortable as your own home. As it is winter there are log fires burning and all day high tea being served in the lounge. Breakfast is excellent with bircher muesli, plates of fresh fruit and fruit compote plus the usual bacon,... More

There is something really special as an Australian staying in the heart of the blue mountains....it like coming home. The whole Lillianfells experienence is in the detail......from the divine heavenly bed and plump pillows, the experience dining at Darleys, the heartfelt welcome, to lovely Australian amenities products in the bathrooms by Peter Morrissey which were divine soaking in my tub.... An absolutely beautiful setting for a weekend away! The rooms and grounds are beautiful and peaceful and the service was fantastic. We chose to stay here because it looked great on the Internet and was pet friendly so we could bring our dog. A soft doggy bed was provided and breakfast and dinner could be eaten in a separate area,... More

We spent a wonderful night at Lillianfels. It is the perfect Blue Mountains retreat. The bar/lounge area is so atmospheric, with the comfy sofas and blazing open fires - its really hard to drag yourself away. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Three Sisters Lookout, and a short drive to the beautiful village of Leura Our... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my sister on a very reasonable deal utilising luxury collection starpoints. I had pretty high expectations having passed the place many times on my way to the Three Sisters, and heard good things from friends who had stayed there. We were given a large room with two canopied double beds and chintzy, pastel,... More

Really nice with the old mountain charm. Well located right next to Echo Point lookout - 5 minute walk. Hotel room is spacious & warm. We travelled with 2 adults and 1 3-y-o, stayed in a 2-double-bed room. The staff are really helpful and very family friendly. Children are welcomed. The Lounge is quiet and comfortable, open fire with various... More

Have stayed here a few times now, as a couple and with family (kids 1 & 3 this time). Such a great feel about the place, very familiar, like you're coming home to the family estate (not that I have one..). Great rooms, very traditional, they feel country luxury without being in the slightest bit kitsch. Got interconnecting rooms (double&suite),... More

The staff is very nice, in particular the concierge/door man, not complicated with us coming with a bunch of kids (some hotels are). The view across the Blue Mountains right outside the hotel is spectacular. Coffee for breakfast is the light American version and one needs to pay separately to get a proper Capuccino. For a country with such a... More
