We recently went to dinner at the resturant with a group of friends. The meal was terrible and certainly not up to the standard I would expect from the price. Ive had better meals in a pub for alot cheaper! The waitress was extremley rude. As a local, its difficult to find somewhere here to enjoy a good meal with... More

We stayed here as all accommodation was booked out in Stanthorpe over Easter. Not a bad detour. Owners were super friendly. Room was very spacious for 4 adults although the sofa bed was (like all sofa beds) rather atrocious. Room was more an apartment with a small kitchen as well. Nothing flash at all but for the price it was... More

We have stayed at Gunyah 3 times now and the staff have been so friendly on each occassion & always remembered us. The menu for the restaurant is impressive but have never eaten there as have only had one-night quick stays. The highlight for me when I stay there are the luxurious, soft BIG fluffy white towels - they are... More

First words to me were "you are early". Arrived at 1.30 instead of 2pm. Went back to inquire about location of single beds only to be spoken down to by both Managers. Room was good but putside needed a tidy up. Good location but due to rudeness would not recommend to friends

Working in Warwick for 4 days, travel a lot so always look for comfortable, great food and good service and that's what I got. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, rooms are clean and comfortable, serviced my room daily and the food great. I'll be back. Thanks

We were on a road trip to Queensland and after phoning around found what seemed to be the last room in town. We were happy to pay $140 per night for a room that was normally priced at $165. The restaurant food was 10/10, absolutely beautiful. The room on first glance was also beautiful, but when we put head to... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay at McNevins Motel in Warwick. We are dreadfully sorry that you did not have a good night’s sleep or that you felt that your lack of sleep was not acknowledged and would like to take the time to acknowledge that now. Acoustically, this is the first complaint we... More

We went to the Apples and Grapes Festival in Stanthorpe but couldnt get a hotel there. So we booked at Warwick, about 45 minutes away. We were quite worried that they might not keep our room as we only checked-in quite late, after 5PM. Luckily they keep the last room for us. First impression is good. The motel looks and... More

We are so pleased that you had a pleasant stay and enjoyed all the ‘little touches’ that we offer at McNevins Motel. Sorry you found the mattress too soft. Sometimes when we know if someone likes a firmer or softer mattress we can accommodate these requests. Also glad that you enjoyed Queen Victoria Falls and thank you for taking the... More

Was staying here on a work trip so didn't pick the place. Right on the highway do very noises with trucks going over the railway lines outside my room all night. Matress was so soft I sunk into the middle and had no back support which means I got little or no sleep. Not impressed. Old decor and bathroom and... More

We are sorry to hear that your stay here was not great. We have recently refurbished most of our rooms complete with new kings beds and double-glazed windows which has now eliminated any highway noise and any ‘too soft’ mattresses. We appreciate your candid feedback to help us improve our rooms and our service. More

This is pretty.much a standard type of motel room for australia. It was clean and nice and generally ok for short stays. There wasn't much cutlery etc and very, very expensive mini bar. I didnt go to reception but my wife said the staff were nice enough. We didn't eat at the restaurant this time. Overall a typical place but... More

We just recently went to Warwick Rodeo and Campdraft probably the busiest time for accommodation providers in Warwick. We rang the day before and they were booked out however, the receptionist said call back tomorrow we may get a cancellation. Thankfully they did and we got a room that morning. We checked in before 2pm no problem at all and... More
