Have stayed in many three star hotels but this was definitely the worst one. Would not suggest to anyone. Cleanliness of the room - shocking! The worst quality hotel I have ever stayed into! We booked a last minute deal for 3 nights staying at the San Diego Hotel on a all inclusive basis. We caught the number 21 bus for €2.50 each which took approx 10 mins to get to E'Arenal. This hotel is hiddeous. Its set up the road from the beach, The rooms are small, dark, claustrophobic with no room to move with dated and rusted bathrooms and hairdryers from the 1940's or with exposed electrics.The thrid bed that was added to our room was a camp bed.
