Pros: Lovely character wooden rooms overlooking the beach. Friendly hotel staff. Beautiful island. Cons: Sometimes get noisy yachts offshore. And bumpy ferry ride! This was our favourite place in the Caribbean, of ten islands visited on honeymoon. The hotel has a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere, and friendly staff who are willing to do anything to make your stay... More

Although a belated review I think it is well worth highlighting this idyllic getaway for those seeking peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting. I have stayed at this charming hotel a number of times in the past year and the cottage style rooms right on the beach are clean and comfortable. The shuttered doors open onto a small terrace... We stayed here one night prior to boarding our boat booked thru Moorings. The rooms were lovely. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The ocean breezes come right thru the plantation shutters (which are lined with screens -nice touch) and there is A/C as well and the bathroom was large. Taking into consideration this is a remote island hotel I... More

My husband and I were vacationing in Barbados, but arranged a very special overnight trip to the Grenadines. We booked our trip through Chantours in Barbados. They handled every part of getting to the Grenadines, and were a wonderful company to work with. It took a bit of flying to get to Canuoan, but it was well worth it. From... More

Quaint resort with awesome beach. A little pricey ( only game in town) but great for a night after 9 days sailing. Restaurant had good food ( pricey again, but hey, what isn't on these islands. Our room was quaint.....very nice. In the States it would smack of something out of the 50's but opened onto the beach and that... More

Canouan is a small island in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The rooms are small cottages which are located right on the beach and you can walk from your terrace into the crystal blue water. Diving and snorkelling are excellent. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The restaurant has a wide selection of meals with an emphasis on the usual Caribbean... More

SETTING: Paradisiacal. Crystal clear waters. Shady almond and coconut trees. DECOR: The hotel has a very South Sea islands feel, open spaces including reception and the dining areas, these with thatched roofs. Decor heavy on wood, floors, furniture and shutters all the way to the floor. Fresh flowers are placed on the bed and around the room daily. Mini fridge... More

This hotel is also a yacht club and although we were anchored in the bay we used this hotel for the yacht services that it provides. We did not stay in the hotel so unable to comment on rooms etc. The staff were all so incredibly helpful especially the girls in reception. We hired a golf buggy from the hotel... More

As the title says if you want total relaxation then this is your place. You wont be bothered by anyone and you get so relaxed it becomes an effort to walk to the restaurant in the evenings! The only thing I could find wrong was that there was no room service for food. The rooms have beautiful balconies where we... More
