We couldn't fault this hotel. The breakfast was great, the restaurant next door excellent value with a wide choice and the location was perfect - just a few minutes away from Wenceslas Square. Staff also very helpful.

Just recently spent three nights at the Arkada while in Prague. We found this to be a good hotel. Our room was reasonably large and nice and clean. Breakfast was fine (though not the best on this trip to Europe where breakfasts can be fabulous). Location is convenient and the neighborhood quiet. We liked the fact that we were away...

Stayed for four nights with my two sisters and a girlfriend. Helpful staff quickly arranged an additional room but I did wonder why all three rooms had to be on three different floors when the hotel was not fully booked.
Rooms are spotless and beds comfortable and all linen really clean. Trouble is that they are also extremely dark with...

+ Clean,

+ friendly staff,
+ reasonable price,
+ free wifi and wired internet.
- breakfast is ok but nothing to boast about,
- the rooms are not very much sound-proof; you can hear some noise from the corridors and outside,
- the staff speak some English but not much,
- it is ~20-30 minutes walk...

Stayed in Hotel Arkada for 5 nights. Room was clean ,beds comfortable. Hotel appeard to have been recently renovated and was in excellent condition. Some staff were fluent in English, others spoke limited English. All were willing to help and offer useful tips on costs for taxis, which can be a real scam in Prague. Breakfast offered several options which...

When I searched for an appropriate hotel to stay for my weekend trip to Prague, I explored all kinds of accommodation with the following criteria - a safe ,clean hotel close to the main railway station. Especially as wished to walk back and across from the train station, and not waste time/money on taxis -which I'm warned are unreliable in...

Breakfast as expected, rolls, ham, cheese, small selection of cut fruit, eggs, bacon (cut up), sausage (cut into pieces), yoghurt and hot and cold drinks. One guy at breakfast appeared to be doing everything, so sometimes you had to wait for items to be replenished. Toiletries provided in the...

We have had a horrible experience with the Hotel Arkada. When we arrived on Thursday night 01st May they had no record of our reservation and had no double room available. After much searching for an alternative hotel, we had to sleep in a single room, I on a mattress on the floor. The following day the manager promised that...
