We recently stayed at this Hotel, and we were captivated by the absolute beauty of the decor. Its like stepping back in time. The bedrooms comfortable, clean and adequate. The continental breakfast delicious ... !! The price very fair ...for a slice of genuine Prague history. Fell in love :-) More

It looks like something out of a spy movie. The ambience is very Soviet-era and a throw back to post WW2 decor. The inside is dark and dingy, yet it is clean and efficient. There are no shower curtains so this presents a floor and water issue. The staff is curt, but gets the job done. They are not very... More

Born in 1889 as the Hotel Archduke Stephan, the Evropa was recast in the early 1900s as an Art Deco hotel. However, this is yet another classic that has seen much better days. Though the statue-studded exterior, still one of the most striking landmarks on Wenceslas Square, has recently been polished, the rooms are aging; most don’t have bathrooms and... More

My partner and I ate here even after the tour guide slated the food for being over priced and I am so glad we did. Wished we had tried this restaurant sooner as it food was excellent and by far the best we ate in Prague. The decor does look a little bit tired, but we found this all the... More

BAG STOLEN WHILST WATCHED BY OUR WAITER AN ARGUMENT OVER SERVICE We sat down in a small enclosed area where our waiter came straight over to take our order. He was very curt with us though we were dressed no differently to his other guests. During our drinks it appeared that a dodgy single man came and sat at the... More

We have stopped here twice before during the last 3 years. The main hotel rooms are cheap but even cheaper are the no frills rooms to the rear. (always around the £30 per night). These are basic rooms with bed, sink and wardrobe. A couple of communial toilets are located in the hall way. These rooms are situated to the... More

We were messed about by an apartment owner and ended up here.Once over the shock of the initial impression we decided to make the best of it. It was clean and quiet (except the bed that squeaked every time you moved.) Staff were lovely. Chocolate cake for breaky is the way to go!!!! Central to everything, Do not believe the... More

Hotel schould make a little renovation, the paint on the walls is not very fresh and the bathroom remembers times of socialism, generally gives the impression of poorly cared but the arhitecture details inside are wonderfull. The room was nice, old style furniture, very good mattress and clean sheets I sleep like a baby, The view from the window was... More

We visited prague in June 2011. With no expectations, we booked into the Evropa Hotel on the famous square. Well what a surprise. Not that i had any expectations regarding the interior, but this was the pits! it saddens me that such a beautiful property with so much potential are basiclly going for the dumps. The staff is the most... More

Came to Prague for a stag do. Arrived outside the hotel and we were all pretty excited as the building did look nice...plus from looking at pictures on the website of the hotel, it led us to believe it was quite decent! As we entered, the lobby was completely lifeless and dull and we was greeted by a huge stench.... More
