Do it! Hostel Elf is extremely nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Doublerooms are not impressive, but beds are fine. I think Hostel Elf is the perfect spot, if you want to socialise with other travellers and make party! Oh, and the breakfast is really good! Oh and they make like free BBq´s and stuff like that. Every day,... More

The bedroom was cozy and clean, the breakfast simple but tasty and enough, and although people respected the night and were all very quiet during that time, you could see a lot of activity in the morning and during the day. We didn't have the chance to try the BBQ, but I will return here for sure if I ever... More

Hostel Elf describes itself as involving and fun. I wouldn't use either word to describe it - the staff are nice enough (some of them) but they seem mostly concerned with larking around with their local friends rather than providing a good service. For some inexplicable reason, the kitchen is in the hallway of the rooms, which means you hear... More

Initially, it was quite difficult to find. We called the hostel and the person who answered the phone was very rude. In fact, she was so rude that I was willing just to hang up the phone and wander with my map until I found the Hostel to prevent further conversation with her. I found the hostel 30 minutes later... Admittedly, the hostel was slightly hard to find, but once you realize what the symbol looks like on the lamps posts, it is fairly easy. We walked, but I imagine it would have been super easy to find had we taken the bus from Florenc Station. The staff were super friendly, giving us free maps, answering tons of questions, and... More

When I first saw this hostel, it looked a bit creepy, but it turned out to be a nice, friendly place, with an interesting design. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms clean. I stayed there 3 nights, and one night there was a loud party, but later it was quiet and peaceful, so I can't really... More

If you're only looking for a place to sleep and don't care too much about service and interiors, Hostel Elf is a good choice. Pros are the price and location. It's not located in a nice area, but it is fairly close to both buses and metro and is walking distance from Prague's city centre. Minuses are the interiors and... More

It's great cosy friendly and colourful place! Young staff and lot of outgoing people. Very good spot. I would say kind of hippie environment (in good meaning of this word ofc). Not far away there was sth like milk bar with cheap food and bear - pivo ty pipo :D ... unfortunately nothing for vegetarian. But vegetarian can try in... More

We spent there three nights in February 2013. We were welcomed by Friendly people who seemed to fancy what they do- very helpful. The hostel is located 5 min walk to Florenc station so it is really comfortable, as well as in the really interesting area Zizkov- worth visiting and so far away for the city centre. The room and...
