We stayed at the Gotyk Hotel for two nights on the 16th and 17th of April. We found the hotel staff very warm and wellcoming. The hotel was well posiitioned with in the old quarter of historic Gdańsk. The room was very cozy and clean and had a good atmosphere about it generally. Set in a very pretty street, famous... More

This is a quaint little place with lots of charm and a great english speaking staff very willing to help. I was a little put off when I first arrived because of the tourist crowds nearby. But I ended up really liking it because of the old-time vibe of the house and neighborhood. It's great in the early morning and... More

I stayed in the hotel Gotyk House for 2 nights 21 and 22.04.2012. The hotel is very well positioned in the historic city centre. All members of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, fresh and of a excellent quality. Bathroom however was a little disappointing. Clearly the time to update shower fittings is right now. More

I definitely do not recommend staying in this "hotel" and I would also like to warn all guest willing to do so. I have booked a room in this hotel well in advance (end of February for a stay in mid April) with just three requests - to be able to check in late, to have a parking place and... More

Our room (#4) was really nice, spacious and bathroom has hot water, which isnt always quaranteed in Poland. Positives: +Great staff with good english skills +Location +Price Negatives: -No fridge or minibar in room -Only 7 rooms, so is often fully booked... More

We stayed here for 4 nights over Valentines and I will get the small grumbles out of the way at the start, be under no illusion this is a hotel, it is a B&B. You are essentially paying for somewhere to sleep and a continental breakfast in your room each morning. There is no safe, kettle or hairdryer in the... More

It was some time ago I stayed here, however the memory of that time remains positively placed in the depths of my mind. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful streets in Gdansk. One thing you should bear in mind is that this property is over 3 floors, so if you have any claustrophibia or any disability... More

We have a new favourite city, to add to Prague - Gdansk. The attraction is partly because of the lovely Gotyk House, the friendly, helpful staff and the beautiful Amber street it is located in. We could choose to have our breakfast in our room or in the small reception area. We were given a gift of Ginger cakes, we... More

Oldest house in Gdansk, in a lovely wee street which we are told is very popular during peak season. Was rather chilly while we were there so it wasn't busy at all which was perfect!! Great setting and half a minute walk to the center square! Cute wee warm rooms! Would highly recommend. pleasant stay!! More

As the other reviews suggest, you can confidently book a stay at the Gotyk House assured of excellent friendly and professional service. The Gotyk is around a one minute walk from the long market and the riverside and you can almost touch the church next to the hotel (don't miss a walk to the church tower for panoramic views of...
