The hotel is not terribly attractive, inside or out, but the location cannot be beat. The rooms, unless you get the ones on the Executive side, face other buildings, so there is no view whatsoever. a brilliant location, friendly and quick staff, spacious and comfortable rooms with a great view. I was there on business, so I also enjoyed the main hall in which I felt like I was in the XIX century.

The Hotel Grand Union is wonderfully located in the center of the beautiful city of Ljubljana. From my experience I would rather recommend the renovated Grand Union Business than the (more expensive) Excecutive part of the hotel.

I just left Ljubljana after a week of business. The staff was so friendly. Everyone! The location is great. If you include breakfast, it was nice as well. We held a conference there and everything worked like clock work. Thank you!

A fascinating city full of wonderful Art Deco buildings. The food was first rate with and the Saturday market is not to be missed. The breakfast are not to be missed as they will set you up for a days sightseeing.
