Just back from seven nights in Budapest. I booked this thanks to trip advisor recommendations. It is a great hotel, very stylish with comfortable, if smallish rooms. the main draw is the service as many others have said. We had an airconditioning unit go wrong and begin buzzing interrmittently at 1:30 am. The hotel allowed us to go straight to... More

We stayed a few days at this lovely hotel. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The location is great. Close enough to walk to all the places that need to be seen or at least to the "Hop on, Hop off busttops". If you take a taxi from the train station, make sure you check price beforehand and it... The service at Palazzo Zichy is fantastic. All of the staff at reception during our four day stay were friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel definitely deserves its very good reputation. The location is good, breakfasts are great, and again, the service is outstanding. The only small criticism I have is that the rooms are fairly small, but always clean... More

Palazzo Zichy has earned their number one rating and work to maintain the status. Not really far from the main sights and really an enjoyable, walkable area with pubs and dinner possibilities. They call City Taxi, arriving in 5 minutes, who offer very reasonable fares. Via email the hotel arranged our train station pick-up saving us the pain of the... More

My wife booked the trip as a surprise so I had no idea where we were staying. Late at night we arrived in a taxi turning off a main road onto a narrow side street to be dropped off at the front door in a dimly lit street. Thought for a moment we had possibly made a bad choice as... More

We spent 3 nights at the Palazzo Zichy from 17th May 2012 and liked the location since it was a short walk from the central areas but quiet and away from the tourist trail. I was most struck by the helpfulness of all the staff. Before we arrived they e mailed me full details of all the ways of getting... More

So happy to have stayed here for our week in Budapest. The staff is unparalled. Made everything in a strange city doable and easy. The rooms are meticulously maintained. The Junior Suite is well worth the extra bucks--you'll save money everywhere else in this city--restaurants, tours, transportation--everything is so much less than anywhere I've been in Europe. The hotel is... More

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Palazzo Zichy recently. The staff were friendly and helpful, the building is beautiful, the rooms are sufficient and everything is nice and clean. The breakfast was varied, and replenished constantly. The room we were in was on the small side, but had good use of space so could still unpack and keep... More

This is a 4 star hotel with a 5 star service! Beautiful hotel with modern features, free coffee and soft drinks in bar. Walking distance to Kalvin Ter for all transport links and Raday Utca where there are lots of good restaurants and bars! You will not be disapointed as this hotel is fantastic and does not cost anymore than... More

I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Palazzo Zichy from Sun 13/5 to Thurs 17/5. The service is friendly, welcoming and helpful right from the moment you come in the door. The rooms aren't over large but they are spotlessly clean and fitted out beautifully. The hotel is located in the middle of the palace district so the rooms don't... More
