There was only the junior suite available as we arrived un announced so we got it and we really like it. Very nice design. Clean. Nice facilities. Location depends on what you want to fo but its not really too far from most points of interest. There is a wonderful local restaurant close but i have to check my old... More

I really couldn't fault this hotel. I've just come back from a 3 night stay at the Marmara and I found it to be just what I needed! Well I notice people are complaining about the food. OK the breakfast could be more varied, but there were about 10 or more things on offer and I can't believe anyone could... More

Booked this hotel as local travel agent recommended . Booked comfort package which meant taxi pickup which was very good .. The taxi driver gave us mini tour of city both sides on way to hotel which was a nice start to the 3 day break . The room was fine if a bit small .. Quiet .. So decent... More

My wife and I stayed three nights The staff could not have been more helpful. One lady receptionist solved a very complicated problem by working the flight seating and pre-check in hassle we were experiencing with easyJet. The room was very clean. We had to get them to take away used tea cups and replace bath towels. The breakfast was... More

The staff are very friendly and service is excellent + fast. Our room fridge died, and within an hour we had another one. The receptionists also helped several times with making restaurant reservation and obtaining Budapest cards (a very recommended facility for unlimited public transport - you can buy them at the hotel but only for cash). Rooms were ok,... More

I stayed at the Marmara for 2 nights in April 2013 and was most impressed. The rooms were well appointed, with a 32" flatscreen with a good selection of English films. The bathroom was well equipped although only had a shower, this was fine for a couple of days. The room was clean and tidy. The wifi worked fine although... More

Marmara Hotel Budapest is close to an underground station, which makes getting to it does not cause problems. The hotel is decorated very nicely. Very friendly hotel staff. Adequate sized rooms. Beds very comfortable, and very soft pillows which for me was a huge downside, because it allowed me to sleep. The hotel available high-speed Internet access via WiFi. Room... More
